The Bionanoengineering group is located in the state-of-the-art Materials and Mineral (M2) new building (direction to find us: here).
The lab is PC2 compatible and comprises a mammalian cell culture area, a wet chemistry area and a solid-state biosensing areas (surface plasmon resonance, Silicon nanowire workstation, Chemiluminescence workstation).
The lab is also equipped with:
A state-of-the-art imaging flow cytometer (Mark II, AMNIS) dedicated to the study of disseminated tumor cells.
A Digital Holographic Microscope (Lynceetec) for cellular imaging
An automated cell detection/ micro-manipulation system (CellSorter)
A research surface plasmon resonance instrument
A microfabrication/microfluidic work station
