Aidan and Marnie selected in the Fresh Science program

Congratulation to both Marnie and Aidan for being selected in the 2015 Fresh Science program. The Fresh Science program takes young researchers with no media experience and turns them into spokespeople for science, giving them a taste of life in the limelight, with a day of media training and a public event in their home state.

The program is extremely competitive so well done ! A public event will be held on the 24th of August at the Lions hotel.

ARC Linkage grant success with our partner Ceramisphere

The outcomes of the 2015 ARC Linkage Grant scheme have been announced and our collaborative project with Ceramipshere Pty Ltd, Prof Clive Prestidge and A/Prof Rachel Gibson has been awarded. Ceramisphere is a privately owned company commercialising a patented technology for the encapsulation, transport, delivery and controlled release of molecules using sub-micron or micron sized ceramic spheres. The funding will enable us to continue the development of microfabricated in vitro models of the intestine to accelerate the development of targeted oral delivery carriers.
