Collaboration with TGR BioSciences funded by the SA Innovation Voucher Program

The Innovation Voucher Program (IVP) encourages collaboration between small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and research and development organisations. In collaboration with the ANFF, we have received an Innovation Voucher to work with TGR BioSciences towards developing a microfluidic immunoassay based on TGR’s proprietary CaptSure™ assay technology.

Funding from the Ramaciotti Foundation for a state-of-the-art imaging flow cytometer

Thanks to the support of the Ramaciotti Foundation, a state-of-the-art imaging flow cytometer will be installed and upgraded in the BioNanoEngineering labs. Imaging flow cytometry (more info here) combines the speed, statistical power, and fluorescence sensitivity of flow cytometry with the functional insights of high resolution microscopy. This unique combination enables a wide range of novel applications that would be impossible using either technique independently. The imaging flow cytometer will complement the suite of advanced biomedical imaging technologies already available on the Mawson Lakes campus.
